Fall Things That Excite

I may be jumping on this too soon since in Winnipeg it still feels like summer but I've seen the odd orange or yellow leaf so to kick off the season here are my fave aspects of Fall...
1. Pumpkin Pie... Can't get enough of it. It's definitely in my top 3 favourite desserts

2. The Stitch and Bitch group I'm starting. Hoping to make some beauties such as this :)

3. Squirrels. My mom has always fed the squirrels, birds, raccoons, AND Turkeys in the neighbourhood and if I weren't living in an apartment and had the cashflow to buy dog food sized bags of peanuts I would feed the squirrels too.

4. Pumpkin Carving. I meant to do it last year but never got around to it! My favourite part is the salty pumpkin seeds.

5. The Winnipeg Zombie Walk. Again something I've never been to but I am determined to go to this year!

6. Breaking out the Sorels when the snow hits

    holy crap that pumpkin is AMAZING! also i kind of wish i had sorels but they might be a bit overkill in vancouver.

    Hmm.. yes possibly but they're so much fun to clomp around in... I say do it - you can pull them off no matter what the weather is if you have the right attitude.... :)

    Haha I might do it! Last year it snowed quite a bit (for here, anyways), so maybe it'll happen again. By the way I just wanted to say I am loving your blog!
