The Beautiful Dead

Stumbled upon Polly Morgan's work recently in my favourite magazine... Juxtapoz. Polly uses the "contemplative" beauty of dead animals to make art. Clarification: The animals are already dead and she taxidermies (I think I just made that word up) them. No animal killing here! This may make some people squirm but I think she is brilliant. She is using unique materials and is giving these animals another life. If I am reincarnated as a small animal and die intact I would be honored to be Polly Morgan's next piece. That was pretty abstract..
