So 7 things about myself...
1. I love eggs. Can't get enough of them - and could probably eat a dozen at a time if I didn't restrain myself...
2. My mom has always fed the squirrels and critters outside the house since I can remember. She buys dog food sized bags of peanuts and puts them out in a dish for them every morning. I think this is very admirable.
3. I've been drinking Yogi tea lately. I like to go to my local hippie health store and pick out new hippie teas often... I bought Yogi 'Blues Away' tea the other day. It's supposed to make you happier and who doesn't want that! It also has cheesy inspirational qoutes on each tab... the one I'm drinking right now says, "Life is a gift. If you do not value your gift, no one else will."
4. I am a city girl but I also love seclusion. After working several years at a kids summer camp on an island and going to my best friends cottage every summer I'm fairly certain I could be totally happy living in a cabin in the middle of the woods - Jackson Pollock style. Think of how much painting could be done in that seclusion... I think being able to experience city life and cottage life helps me appreciate both.
5. I love stretched ears but don't think I could commit...

6. I made six batches of veggie chili the other day! It was my first time making chili - it took me three hours - and it turned out great! I'm trying to make more bulk food lately so I have good food ready to take to school.
7. Darrin sent me Pianochatimprov's chat roulette video - it makes me laugh...
And some of my regular reads I'd like to nominate!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the Beautiful Blogger award!
ReplyDeleteand I LOVE LOVE LOVE that your mom feeds the squirrels thats just precious.
Hey thanks! But just a warning if you are thinking about feeding the critters by your home... you have to keep feeding them year round because they become dependent on it and my brother is never amused when he finds piles of empty peanut shells stashed under the hood of his truck... they're so cute though, i still support the critter feedings :)
ReplyDeleteGreat facts! Glad you sent out the love back into the blog-universe! :)
